Eleven years ago, Burton set out to make a binding that was able to destroy the entire mountain. Now, over a decade later, the Burton Mission EST IS that binding featuring 132 months of research and development. The EST system gives you endless stance adjustability, a truer flex for your board, and more cushioning (compatible exclusively with Burton boards featuring The Channel). An ergonomically Canted Hinge Hi-Back is lightweight and gives the Mission EST a forget-its there fit. Since the EST system mounts on the outside of the baseplate more room is left for the new removable SensoryBED cushioning system. Ultra-light EVA is used to cushion against impacts and an incorporated stance indicator window allows for easy mounting. The Superstrap and new Gettagrip Capstrap pulls your heel into the binding giving better power transfer during heel and toe side turns. To reduce weight and unnecessary hardware, the Mission EST Binding uses Living Hinge Technology letting you adjust forward lean and hi-back rotation independently.
