I’m looking for a new ski helmet. How do I measure my head to make sure I am buying the right-sized helmet?
Dwight,
Measuring your head for a ski helmet is super simple. The easiest way is to use a cloth tape measure, if you have one. If you don’t, a piece of string and a standard tape measure will suffice as well. The process for measuring is fully outlined in our sizing guide for snow helmets. I would go through the steps here and then return to the sizing chart for the brand of helmet you’re interested in purchasing. This way you can choose the correct size based on the measurement you determined.
